Style Watch: Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards 2015

Last Monday, the Council of Fashion Designers of America held its annual CDFA Awards in Lincoln Center. The Awards are an annual celebration of the contributions made to American fashion by designers and other fashion industry professionals.

With awards categories such as “Fashion Icon” and “Lifetime Achievement”, the CFDA Awards are no different and no less flashy than your typical Music or Film award show, and have even gained the nickname “The Oscars of fashion.”
The winners (which are listed below) are full of household names such as Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen – the red carpet was absolutely star-studded and, if taken out of context, could be a snapshot from almost any glamourous red carpet this season.

Here’s a look at some of the most notable looks from the CDFA award as well as the list of this year’s winners.
